Bliss
by Steffi Edwin--
A soul sat near the shore.
A soul sat near the shore.
With
grief in heart – vision left
the
clod and rose up to core.
The
eyelid shuts and cracked soft.
And
the waggling basal tears flushed to care.
Usual
sky with clouds appeared liquid – mellow
heart
remind, your soul is the strongest ocean lure
than
the vision you see now.
EXPLANATION
(Just
for the explanation I took the gender as female for the soul
mentioned in the poem)
A
girl sat near a sea shore with pain all over her. And the eyes left
the land and rose above to the sky. The movement she closes and opens
her eyelid, tears flushed to console her and covered the whole eyes
without dropping out.
When
she saw the sky with tears on eyes, she had the feeling of her whole
body and the sky was under water. So she felt excited and
comfortable, as if the water is having her in its hands without
drowning in.
The
tears were waggling in eyes as the water in rivers waggle, so it was
a bit funny to look at clouds as if they were dancing on its way.
There comes the sweet little smile which popped her cheeks up.
After
her thanks to God for wonderful nature, she inhaled and locked as
much of air her lungs could bare. And her inner voice gently
whispered saying, your heart and soul is the big and strongest ocean
than the sea and sky which is in front of you. And she exhaled her
whole breath out with brief relaxation.
She
then stood and started to walk, to face the struggles which life
throws on her.
